Beautify the Meek has long needed basic office/training/storage space. A building that is at least 12x20 or larger will be an ideal office space and storage building. A building that is completely wired and have insulation will be just what we need. We would be able to serve our clients more effectively. We Welcome for someone or an organization to donate a building as well. Our specifications: to have storage at least 12x20, insulated, doors, windows,ventilation, wired and if wood that all wood be treated.

We do a lot of traveling to shelters as well as transport. One day, we desire to have a High Tech Mobile Unit that carries computers, makeup centers, labs, and so. For now, a Van is our immediate need. Yet we are believing for a fully loaded mobile unit.
Climate Control Office/Storage Building
Approximately two - three portable heating and air units. Priced at about $600.00 per unit. Yes, we will accept if you send the item to us. We need to keep the storage/office in a climate control environment. Some of the items stored are climate sensitive.

Cosmetics: We always need cosmetics products. Whether Mary Kay, Avon, Cover Girl, Loreal, Clinique, M.A.C, IMAN, Fashion Fair, Philosophy, Maybelline and other products. We ask that you note that we serve a diverse and vast range of women, teens, skin types and tones.
We always need skin care products. Whether Mary Kay cleansers and moisturizes to Cetaphil. Mary Kay, Avon, Clinique, M.A.C, Clean and Clear, Color Me Beautiful, Iman, ProActive, Philosophy, Neutrogena, Dove, Murad and other are great products ARE WELCOMED. If you do not know what to get and are purchasing a cleanser and/or moisturizer to send to us we suggest Cetaphil. They sell a GENTLE SKIN CLEANSER that is made for ALL TYPES of skin. Wardrobers are a favorite to us at Beautify the Meek. The versatile wear that one can get out these suits are just awesome. We welcome ALL professional and casual dress to get our clients into the job market and to maintain their marketability.
Wardrobers happen to be our favorite because just with almost little effort new looks can emerge. Wardrobers come with a jacket, pant, skirt, and sometimes the designer throws in the added flare of a scarf. Now that takes the suit to a whole new level. Now add the classic white cotton button down shirt and the impressionable image of a confident woman emerges. When we say classic white cotton button down we are not talking about your dad or husband's shirt, we are talking about the shirt that acommodates your figure and caresses your body in a ladylike manner. Now add one, two or even a third shell in the mix with the classic pearl earrings and necklace.... a wardrobe capsule is created and now from one suit emerges several looks that are professional and merits thumbs up from your employer or interviewer while remaining cost effective. We always suggest black, navy, grey/gray, or navy black for job interviews. We also suggest the classic white cotton button down shirt as well as classy shells that does not show much flesh. We advise white shells, off white, shades of red and blue shells that add a hint of color, and some coral colors as well.

Financial Donations are Always Needed
We Need Help!
We simply could not do what we do with out the financial support of the people and their hearts being moved with compassion. We have not received financial grants to date. We depend on the generousity of the public. Our staff nor does our volunteers receive any pay. We Do Not get paid but we have poured our hearts into this vision and great needs of our clients. We've donated and continue to donate several Hours of in-kind services. We thank each donor for their past, present, and future support and welcome the help of new donors. Financial donations are so important because of the multi-faceted programs we provide. It is always important to have finances for emergencies, operating cost, training and transportation just to name a few of the things.
Toiletries & Cosmetics
Everything from deoderant, soap, shampoo, conditoners (and other hair products), toothpaste, mouthwash, women's shaving cream and razors, hair removing chemicals, Qtips (cotton swabs), body lotions and oils, Adult Pampers (for those that suffer wetting), Tylenol, Advil, Sanitary Napkins, Tampons, Feminine Sprays, cosmetic wedges (latex-free), cotton cleaning pads, cosmetic pads, powder puffs, eye shadow applicators, mascara wands, and so on. Toiletries are always needed. Towels and Hand towels are needed too.
We use makeup, cosmetics, and skin care on so many levels for our ladies. From preparing clients for job interviews, building self-confidence and esteem, to empowering tools. We have to purchase makeup and sometimes we purchase specialty makeup to meet the needs of our clients. The special purchases are to help with paramedical application for those women whom have undergone scarring, burns, and disfiguartion from abuse or neglect. Cosmetics that we purchase or cosmetics that are donated to us has to acommodate our diverse clientele.

We always need storage containers, we prefer clear. We need all sizes to acommodate our organization ar Hangers are essential as well as any labels (even if it is tape with the title of the contents written with a Sharpie). We try to keep everything organize and as we help our clients with needed items, we try to meet their needs promptly.
Laptops, Computers, Computer Software , & Computer Based Training
11 Laptops & 4 Desktops Needed
We serve battered, under-served, and disenfranchised women and teens. We are excited because lives are being impacted and changed for the better. Women, teens, their children are all being impacted. We are seeking laptops to operate more efficiently with the growth of our clientele and the progress so many are making.
We aide our clients to advance in skills for jobs, job advancements, interviewing, image, business etiquette, and several tools that not only change their lives but their children's lives. We have gotten several tutorials, job skill DVDS, and classes to help our clients.
We have had certain clients which have a unique need for computers or laptops which they don't have access to. For example: we will call this lady Joan. Joan is a teacher who has 3 children. Her state will pay her more money if she learns Spanish and fills one of the bi-Lingual positions they have available. Joan really needs this extra boost in her pay because she has left her abusive mate. We have supplied her with the course data but in a shelter with no or little transportation, no computers, no printers, no liberal access to anything she cannot get to a computer to use our DVD program. With the help of the laptop loaner program. She was able to watch the entire DVD course and master her test and receive the extra pay.
Another example, we will call this lady Arthea. She tries to help her children with their homework. She cannot go to a public library to use their computer. Everything is closed by the time she gets home. Arthea needs the income to support herself and her . Arthea just received her GED and has 4 kids. She has been abused for over 27 years. Arthea is taking a HVAC DVD course we have provided. It comes with the HVAC test tools. She works long hours at an apartment complex and doesn't want to be at the mercy of any system nor does she want a lifestyle of abuse. To have a loaned laptop she can do the training she needs at her convenience as well as help her children with their needed assignements.
We are accomplishing great outcomes with our laptop loaner programs so people like our examples or scenarios given can have an opportunity to change their lives - their family's lives. Continued assistance like this will help us to serve our clients more effectively, efficiently, and assist in brand new areas. Please help! We need projectors, projector cables, a couple of portable screen, and a very powerful camera to document our work and some crisis situations.
